Mummy Dogs

I made Mummy Dogs to bring to my daughter's preschool for their Halloween snack! 

They were so cute and were a huge hit. 

And it gave my husband the opportunity to try to explain what a mummy (not a mommy) was to my 4 year old.  Ha ha ha!

They were very easy to make. 

You will need: 

(1) package of hotdogs

(1) can of crescent roll dough

Mustard

A toothpick

Unroll the crescent rolls into 4 rectangles and pinch the seams together.

Cut each rectangle in about 10 strips.  Use 3-4 strips to wrap around each hot dog to look like a mummy. 

Bake in the oven according to crescent roll directions until the roll is browned.

Use a toothpick to add mustard eyes.

Enjoy a spookey treat!
