Ever since I made my tissue paper and yarn heart wreath I knew I wanted to use this technique again.
With the arrival of spring and Easter on it's way, I realized that this would be a perfect technique to use on Styrofoam eggs!
These are so so simple!
- Mod podge small pieces of tissue paper onto Styrofoam eggs. I think two layers is perfect.
- Let dry.
- Dip yarn in mod podge and squeeze off excess.
- Wrap yarn around eggs and let dry.
What's your favorite way to decorate for Easter or Spring?

I LOVE the addition of colored yarn on these eggs. Looks like frosting. I'm going to be trying this soon.

I really like these eggs and the layers to them. My parents got some Eggs from Germany that have multi layers to them and these remind me of them.

These are really cute! I was thinking of just the tissue paper to cover some plastic eggs I have, but I love the extra element of the yarn!
