How did you spend your weekend?

My weekend started off well.  But Saturday night, our little boy started wheezing and his breathing became labored.  So off to the ER I went with him.

The ER is not what I had in mind for my Saturday night.

He ended up being admitted for the night and one of the meds they gave him to help open up his lungs gave him energy.  At midnight, he was still going strong!  Seriously!  He was playing and laughing and literally jumping in the crib!  It was a bit funny.  Neither of us got much sleep that night.

The good news is is that nothing is majorly wrong.  He is generally a healthy little boy.  But we have a lot of asthma in our family and while it is impossible to diagnose asthma in a small child, they think that something must have triggered some asthma in him.

So we are home now with a nebulizer and a schedule for breathing treatments for a few days.

I had great plans for my little blog this weekend, but it didn't happen.  Instead I had my first all-nighter with my son :)  I am prepping early for the teenage years I suppose!  ha ha ha!

I am going to try to get a "crafty" post up later today, but if it doesn't happen, know that I am here, probably recovering from not sleeping much this weekend.
